The play creates a vivid picture of the relentless hedonism of northern night life with its raw energy, flashing disco lights, and raucous lads and lasses out on the town. Four brutish bouncers portray over twenty different characters including giggly girls and lads on the make as well as the entire cross-section of disco-goers, including Hooray Henrys, pogoing punks and drunken slobs.
